COVID-19 SERVICE UPDATE

Dear Mobicab Patron,

As you are aware, coronavirus (COVID-19) has been spreading over the world and in India. The Maharashtra Government has issued multiple orders since March 2021 detailing emergency measures to combat the spread of Covid-19 during the second wave. The lastest order that was issued on May 31, 2021 extends the lockdown until June 15th, and has relaxed certain restrictions for districts with a low positivity rate.

As a wheelchair taxi service, we remain committed to servicing your essential travel requirements as you travel for your vaccinations, medical appointments, chemotherapy or dialysis. We want to share with you the steps we are taking to ensure that you and our driver executives have a safe journey.

Safety Measures

  • We are mandating the use of masks by drivers and passengers at all times in our vehicles. Refusing to do so will invite a fine from the authorities.
  • The vehicle and wheelchair are sanitised after each trip.
  • There is a plastic sheet separating the driver and the passengers.
    • As per latest guidelines, all taxis are to operate with half of their passenger capacity. Until June 15 2021, we will be operating with a capacity of Wheelchair passenger + 3 co-passengers.
    • We will only be servicing bookings that qualify as essential travel i.e. travel for medical reasons such as vaccinations, medical and healthcare related appointments, chemotherapy, dialysis etc.
    • We are only accepting online payments at this time. If you are a senior citizen and online payments require you to go to a bank, please speak to our booking executives and we will try and work out an option for you.
    • Any outstation travel will require the issuance of the e-pass. The same can be obtained at covid19.mhpolice.in or your nearest police station.
    • Lastly, we are actively monitoring the evolving coronavirus situation and will be taking appropriate steps as per any updated government guidelines.
